Pencil - based on dramatic incidents in a school. Newbie Shariq Hassan is terrific as the perverted high school kid.
A High School Murder Mystery that could have been more engaging.Too many unnecessary characters spoil the show.Needless songs, sub plots & long drawn out climax with a massage. Ripoff of Korean thriller 4th Period Mystery.
Shariq Hassan is the best aspect of Pencil. Promising debut. Sri Divya gets a different urban part as an English speaking school girl. GV prakash (his acting debut) lets the story & other lead characters take prominence. His current image is far removed from his Pencil role.
GV prakash fits perfectly as the high school boy and has done a good job.Lot of good Actors in the Supporting cast like Urvashi , VTV Ganesh etc. GV prakash 's songs are peppy and melodious.. His BGM gives the necessary effect for the thriller at key moments.
Director Mani Nagaraj has attempted something new in Tamil. Could have tightened the script to make it even more gripping.
