KO2 works as a sensible political thriller. Raises pertinent questions, keeping the viewers engaged throughout.Has an engaging 2nd half when we get to know the back stories for the CM kidnapping. karuna character makes good emotional connect.
Ilavarasu gets a key role and Prakash Raj is typically comfortable as the CM. Serious scenes, politics work well.Loved karuna 's performance in the film. Interesting makeover for the actor.Nikkigalrani seems to have learnt the tricks of the journo trade well. Leon james score is big plus.Title card with Unnai Maatrinal number is impressive.
Director sarath shows good command in the politics based scenes & the 2nd half which is key for any film. You'll leave the film content.Biggest plus are its powerful dialogues, music and running time. Bobby and Prakash Raj solidly carry the film on their shoulders.Actors like Ilavarasu, Prakash raj show their caliber.
Trouble is the slow 1st half, takes too much time to get moving. On the whole decent topical film.Bobby Simhaa needs to be convincing as hero.Simhaa has major influences of Superstar Rajini in his way of talking, mannerisms. In the powerful dialogs, the resemblance is striking.
Watchable political entertainer with a solid flashback and engaging second half.
